A Bolton man has been banned from the roads after driving with cocaine in his system and failing to stop for police.
Darren Hurst was behind the wheel of a BMW on Spa Road, Atherton, in May this year.
He got behind the wheel after consuming cocaine.
He also failed to stop for police and was found in possession of the drug.
The 34-year-old admitted failure to stop, possession of cocaine and driving with cocaine in his system at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court.
Hurst, of Leigh Road, Westhoughton, was placed on a community order to last for a year.
He was ordered to do 40 hours of unpaid work, fined £576 and banned from the roads for 15 months.
