A Bolton man has been penalised for travelling on the Metrolink without a ticket.
Vijay Gill was found at Victoria Station in Manchester without a valid receipt for payment of travel.
The offence took place in May this year.
The case against the 42-year-old was proved at Tameside Magistrates' Court this month.
Gill, of Hartington Road, was fined £220 and ordered to pay costs of £208.
