A hotel in Bolton is appealing for people to donate Christmas gifts to a children's hospice.
The Mercure Hotel in Bolton is supporting Derian House Children's Hospice in Chorley through its Christmas gift appeal.
Derian House provides respite, palliative and end-of-life care to children and young people.
Mercure manager Rochelle Jefferey said: “It was important for us to be able to support a charity that would allow us to make a difference, not only to the children but also to the families and help relieve some of the pressure that we can face at Christmas.
“Derian House do a fantastic job and we really hope that with the help of our community and local businesses we can give back and give them a whole load of presents to distribute across the families that need the help the most at this time of year.”
A gift list is also available from the hotel and includes things like, pyjamas, socks, music speakers, books, puzzles, headphones, perfume, games and arts and crafts.
Anyone who donates a gift will be given a raffle ticket and will be entered into a draw to win a free night's stay at another hotel in the group with breakfast included.
All gifts need to be dropped off by Monday, December 18.
