A new authentic Indian restaurant is one step closer to opening in Egerton.
It comes as owners of the long-established Spice Valley in Horwich decided to expand their business following success.
Spice Valley - the brand - has been around for 20 years in Bolton, having cemented a reputation for quality food.
Owner Sanjeev Muttra said: “We wanted to open a second branch before Covid, but we had to put everything on hold.
“And now everything is getting back to normal we thought it was the right time to open another restaurant.

“It’s a very good area and the people are great.”
Sanjeev and part owner Teelesh Bisnauthsing say they wanted to bring authentic Indian food to the area, after feeling as though there is not much choice.
Sanjeev said: “I love doing what I do, and I have been doing it since I was 17.
“We are really proud of what we are doing.
“During Covid people us out when we had to do take away only and made sure we kept going.
“And I want to say a massive thank you to everyone.”
The pair have been friends for 20 years and went into business together in 2018 after working together.
Sanjeev added: “I worked in hotel management at one of the best restaurants and bars in London – the Blue Ginger - before moving to Bolton from Mauritius,.”
Sanjeev says that he wanted to be in Egerton because all of his customers are from Egerton and the surrounding areas, from when their restaurant was in The Valley.
Chefs Shashikant Meshram, from Ahmedabad, and Sukanta Behera, from Nagpur, both have experience in some of the top hotels in the world including the Crowne Plaza, DoubleTree by Hilton, and Radisson Hotels.
There was a light opening on Wednesday for friends and family, and there is expected to be a VIP launch on Wednesday, November 15 with Bolton Wanderers club owners expected to attend, along with former professional footballer Iain Dowie and his wife Debbie.
The restaurant, located at Unit 1A Dunscar Business Park, will officially open on Thursday, November 16.
Free parking is also available anywhere on the business park, as well as disabled access available at the back of the restaurant.
Bookings are essential and they can also be made for private dining.
