New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Bolton’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Examining hygienic food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated three eateries a five out of five hygiene rating, one eatery a four out of five hygiene rating and one eatery a three out of five hygiene rating.
Two restaurants and one pub have been awarded five out of five hygiene ratings.
Sagar Indian Cuisine at 61 Church Street, Blackrod, received a new hygiene rating of five after inspection on October 23.
The report states both the hygienic food handling and the management of food safety are very good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good.
Farnworth, was rated a five after inspection on October 13.
UOB Services Ltd (Queens Specialist) at Queens Building, Queen Street,The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the management of food safety are very good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good.

Red Lion at 1-3 Salford Road, received a rating of five after inspection on October 23.
The report states both the hygienic food handling, and the management of food safety are very good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good.
One eatery has been handed a four out of five hygiene rating.
The Filling Station at 91 Lever Street was given the rating after inspection on September 29.
The inspectors report states both the management of food safety and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are good whilst the hygienic food handling is generally satisfactory.
Finally, one takeaway has been rated a three out of five.
Bolton, was rated a three after inspection on September 30.
Valentino’s at 288 Halliwell Road,The inspection report states the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good whilst the hygienic food handling and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory.
