A man in Breightmet has been arrested and charged with drug dealing.
Rio Gregory from Thicketford Brow in Breightmet appeared in court yesterday after being charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis and concerned in the supply of cocaine.
A police spokesman said: "Bolton North Neighbourhood Team secure charges Rio Gregory, (11/07/2004) of Thicketford Brow in Breightmet has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply cannabis and concerned in the supply of cocaine.
"He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wigan & Leigh Magistrates’ Court today (04/11/23)."
It comes after police arrested a man for driving without a licence, insurance, in possession of drugs and concealing a criminal.
Cash and drugs were recovered from the car parked at the petrol station on the A666 after being stopped by police on November 3.
The driver was also found to be driving without insurance or a driving licence.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and the car was seized.
