New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Bolton’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated two eateries three out of five food hygiene ratings and one eatery a one out of five food hygiene rating.
A Bolton takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Siraj Curry House, a takeaway at Dhokia Place, 202 St Helens Road, Bolton was given the score after assessment on September 23, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The food hygiene report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.
A Bolton restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Smithills Open Farm Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Smithills Dean Road, Bolton was given the score after assessment on September 26, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The food hygiene report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.
It means that of Bolton's 438 restaurants, cafes, and canteens with ratings, 243 (55 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
Finally, a Bolton takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
24 Karat Chippy & Grill Ltd, a takeaway at 1 Wigan Road, Bolton was given the score after assessment on September 25, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The food hygiene report states both the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are generally satisfactory whilst major improvement is necessary for the management of food safety.
It means that of Bolton's 363 takeaways with ratings, 145 (40 per cent) have ratings of five and just four have zero ratings.
