Recent roadworks in Bolton town centre were carried out as part of £1M investment by Electricity North West.
The work was to lay 3km of new underground cables to power Bolton town centre and the surrounding areas, said a spokesman.
Temporary traffic lights were installed for safety reasons to allow teams to carry out work safely in the road.
The company apologised for any disruption the work may have caused.
