A number of people from Bolton have recently appeared before magistrates.

The courts have dealt with for a range of offences including motoring and drugs ones and one case of harassment.

Hamza Guracha drove a Nissan on New Hall Lane in Preston without insurance.

The 23-year-old admitted the offence, which took place in February this year, at Preston Magistrates Court.

Guracha, from Morrison Street, Bolton, was fined £180, ordered to pay costs of £162 and given six points on his licence.

Tano Jakovics drove a Kio Rio on St Peters Way, Bolton, with cannabis in his system.

He admitted the offence, which took place in February this year, at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court.

The 25-year-old from Lynton Road, Bolton, was banned from driving for a year and banned £80.

Mark Williams carried out threatening behaviour in Bolton in February this year.

The 39-year-old denied the offence but was found guilty at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court.

He also admitted failing to turn up to court in September.

Williams, from Mobberley Road, Bolton, was fined £180 and ordered to pay further costs of £172.

Thomas Kirkwood was in possession of diamorphine last month.

The 27-year-old admitted the offence at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court.

Kirkwood, from Albert Road, Bolton, was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £48.

The court also ordered forfeiture and destruction of the drug.
