A run for those living with or impacted by cancer returns this weekend.
Bolton 5K Your Way will take place on Saturday, October 28 alongside Bolton Park Run, at Leverhulme Park meeting at 8.45, outside the gym.
The Bolton 5K your way ambassadors are encouraging local people living with or impacted by cancer to come along.
The six-strong ambassador team is made up of local people who have had a cancer diagnosis, health and social care professionals and Bolton Park Run Volunteers.
The Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Mohammed Ayub will also be in attendance to support the relaunch.
A spokesperson for Macmillan Cancer Support said: “Bolton 5K Your Way, Move Against Cancer group invites you to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at the Bolton Park run on the last Saturday of every month and then join them for a brew and a chat in the Bridge café afterwards.

“As well as encouraging those living with and beyond cancer to attend, it is also open to friends, family members and those working in cancer services.
“All ages and abilities are encouraged and welcome.
“Lots of the ambassadors will be walking, so just come along and do as little or as much as you want, and there is no need to walk the whole 5K.”
