A well-known and long established Indian restaurant is to expand into Egerton.
Owners of Horwich based Spice Valley have decided to open a new restaurant in Egerton.
Spice Valley the brand has been around for 13 years in Bolton having established a reputation for quality food.
The Horwich restaurant will still continue to serve locals in the community.
The decision to open a new restaurant came about after the Horwich branch continued to grow in popularity.
The new restaurant is currently undergoing a huge renovation so it has a similar style.

In a joint statement to their customers owners of the Egerton restaurant, Sanjeev Muttra and Teelesh Bisnauthsing, said: “After many wonderful and thriving years at our Horwich restaurant, we have decided it’s time to bring our second restaurant to life.
“Something new and exciting, and something we have been planning for a long time.
“We’re so glad we can finally shout about our new place.
“We hope you are going to love it as much as we already do.
“It’s a great place, a great space, and we have done a complete renovation on it, so its brand spanking new.
“But you will recognise some familiar faces from our restaurant in Horwich when you visit.
“We are like kids in a sweetshop right now.
“We’ve all been working so hard to get this place open for mid-November.”
The restaurant will officially open just in time for Christmas on November 16, and renovations are currently ahead of schedule.
The Egerton branch will start taking bookings, including Christmas party bookings and Christmas Day bookings, from November 1 when their website launches.
Earlier this month, the Horwich restaurant was nominated for the regional restaurant of the year award for the North West, in the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards.
Manager of the Horwich restaurant Uttam (Vic) Kumar Jooty says that one of the things that sets the business apart is the authentic Indian food, which can be customised based on someone’s spice preference.
