A teenager has been bailed after being arrested over the weekend as part of a murder investigation.
The 18-year-old was arrested by police in Bolton town centre on the night of Saturday October 21 in connection with the murder of “greatly-loved” 55-year-old Bury woman Susanne Galvin.
Ms Galvin died in hospital on Monday September 18 after having been found at a home on Pear Avenue the previous Saturday.
A tribute from her family at the time said: “Susanne was greatly loved by her parents and family and will be sadly missed.
“As a family, we respectfully ask to be allowed privacy during this difficult time."
Greater Manchester Police confirmed on Monday that the 18-year-old had been bailed pending further investigations.
Officers say he had been arrested as part of Operation Overspill, which aims to tackle crime in the town centre.
According to police, the man was stopped and searched after his behaviour had “raised concerns” and they found he was wanted for questioning in connection with Ms Galvin’s murder.
Officers had already arrested a man and a woman in connection with their investigation.
The 41-year-old woman was released on bail in September, while 31-year-old Stephen Ball, of Pear Avenue, was charged with murder and remanded into custody.
Ball appeared before Manchester Crown Court last month via video link from prison month ahead of a plea hearing set for November 13 and a provisional trial date set for March 11 next year.
In the week Ball appeared in court police issued a further appeal for anyone with any information to come forward.
DCI Mark Davis said: "The thoughts of the investigation team remain with the family at this incredibly difficult time.
“They are being supported by specialist officers and we have also deployed police officers to the area to provide support and reassurances to the local community who were understandably shocked and saddened by this incident.
"I would like to reiterate our appeal for any information in relation to the murder of Susanne.

"We are interested in speaking to anyone who may have relevant information or who may have seen anything.
"Lines of enquiry have led us to believe that the person or persons responsible were on foot on Saturday, September 16 between the hours of 6pm and 9.30pm, and may have been in the area of Pear Avenue, Cherry Avenue, Walnut Avenue, Thompson Drive, Topping Fold Road and Hewart Drive, Bury.
"If you have any information, no matter how small, I would urge you to share it with police as it may be invaluable to this investigation.”
