Here’s a photo which will probably bring back a few memories for quite a few Looking Back readers.

Taken in 1991 it shows some of the lanes at Bolton’s Hollywood Bowl. Ten pin bowling has always been popular in the town and in the Nineties the Bolton Evening News, as it was then, would often offer special discounted tickets and bowling events for members of its young readers’ club, the Bennies.
