Officers released a picture of a cannabis farm they stumbled across while looking for a wanted person this week.
Around 200 large plants were found at an address on Blackburn Road in Astley Bridge.
A spokesman for GMP Bolton North neighbourhood team said: "A 19-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis."
The cannabis farm is the latest to be busted by police in Bolton.

Earlier this year, police discovered their fifth cannabis farm in Bolton town centre.
The discovery was made on Bath Street where a 100 plants were found.
Cultivation of cannabis is a criminal offence which makes the caring of cannabis plants, including nurturing them, feeding them and watering them, illegal.
Farms have uncovered such operations at the former Late Club and Bar Ice in Bank Street and in 2021.
Two huge grows were found at an old bank and former BMW Williams premises in the town centre.
