American burger chain, Five Guys, is now officially open and has already been well received by food lovers.
Located in unit 7a at Middlebrook Retail & Leisure Park, Five Guys opened on Monday October 16 offering customers a wide range of tasty treats.
It is the 15th Five Guys restaurant in the North West and has joined big chains already at Middlebrook including YO! Sushi, Bella Italia, Nando’s, Pizza Hut and TGI Fridays.
District manager, Paul Martin, said the Five Guys team are happy they have now opened in Bolton.
He said: “I am very happy that we are open. For myself the best part about opening up a new store is bringing people from different backgrounds, different diversities, different cultures and staff who have got limited to no food experience and skills together.
“And then for us to take them on board and take them on a journey to teach them the food skills and life skills is a positive. We are watching their journey and them becoming successful people.

“Opening in Bolton is also great, we have been looking at different places around the north for a long time. It is great to be here, the community love it and everyone is coming in and having a good time, we are very proud to be here.”
Paul said they are offering customers a simple but great experience.
He said: “We are quite simple, we want to keep everything as simple as possible. We have burgers and fries, we offer 15 free toppings, so it's up to the person what they want and what they don’t like.
"We have got Cajun fries and salted fries. Portion sizes are quite big so share a portion with a friend and, with the drinks, there are more than 100 flavours on the freestyle machine with free refills.”
A 24-year-old shopper who went to Five Guys for lunch said she loves it.
She said: "I really enjoyed my first trip to Five Guys.
"All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was lovely.
"As a vegetarian it’s really important to me that there are options on the menu that cater to this and I was happy to see they did have multiple options.
"I would definitely go back! I loved it."
Founded in Virginia in 1986 and launched in the UK in 2013 in London’s Covent Garden, the American-diner style restaurant has become one of the UK’s most-loved restaurants and has amassed a loyal fanbase – with superstar fans including Tommy Fury, Mollie King, Ed Sheeran and Maya Jama.
