In celebration of National Album Day, Radio 2 released a picture of Vernon Kay with the one and only Mr Blobby.
On Saturday, October 14, Radio 2 aired a special 90s programme to celebrate the day with presenters Fearne Cotton, Dermot O'Leary and Vernon Kay.
Mr Blobby - a popular and chaotic character first appearing on TV show, Noel's House Party, in 1992 - popped in to pay the trio a visit.
The centrepiece was the Official Most Streamed Albums of the 90s, presented by Steve Wright, revealing the top 40 most-streamed albums released in the UK that decade.
Oasis are the chart toppers with (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? at number one, and Definitely Maybe in second place.
2001 by Dr Dre is at number three and fourth and fifth positions are both held by Nirvana, with Nevermind and In Utero.
The rundown also features records by Westlife, Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, Metallica, Shania Twain and more.
On the show, Vernon and Dermot discussed their favourite albums featuring Vernon’s Dance Albums of the 90s.
Recently, Vernon ran into fellow Boltonians at the Ryder Cup in Europe.
He spent the weekend watching the tournament and, while he was there, ran into some fans from Bolton.
The radio DJ posted pictures of his time there on Instagram, with one showing the fans from Bolton.
Vernon captioned the post: "As recently discussed on BBC Radio 2 The Roman Empire and golf collide @rydercupeurope.
“Also great seeing a tonne of fellow Boltonians on the course."
