A new shopping centre hub is helping University of Bolton students and a Formula 1 car and motorbikes are on display as a sign of the motorsport campus' work.
On the ground floor of Market Place Centre, next to The Perfume Shop, is a Formula 1 sports car display, complemented by a collection of motorcycles, from the motorsport campus at the University of Bolton.
To support the university further, a vacant unit on the upper ground floor, once occupied by the high-street giant Topshop, has been transformed into a vibrant co-working space for students, called The Ibiz.
The scheme serves the academic community and will act as a platform to promote the university.
Market Place centre manager Rachel Townsend said: “We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to The Ibiz at the University of Bolton.
"This presents an incredible opportunity for us to join forces with one of the town's major stakeholders, providing our students with a vibrant destination to shop, dine, and enjoy their time in the Market Place."

Professor Zubair Hanslot, Provost at University of Bolton, added: “Ibiz is an inspiring space that serves as a bridge between students, academics, employers, and the community.
“Here, students can explore the world of work, test their ideas, and engage with the community.
“It also showcases the university's offerings and acts as an off-campus meeting place for stakeholders.
“Additionally, it provides a hub for clubs and societies to meet and advance their agendas.”
Alison Stewart, senior asset manager at Moorgarth, which is involved in the move, said: "The Ibiz opening signifies an exciting collaboration between Market Place Shopping Centre and the university, establishing a prominent presence in Bolton town centre's premier retail, leisure, hospitality, and student business hub."
The Ibiz is open to the public on Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm, and Tuesdays from 1pm to 5pm.
