Bolton radio presenter Vernon Kay ran into fellow Boltonians while at the Ryder Cup tournament.
The biggest golf tournament of the season was held in Rome.
Vernon spent last weekend watching the tournament and while he was there, ran into some fellow Boltonians.
The radio DJ posted pictures of his time there on Instagram, with one picture showing the fans from Bolton.
Vernon captioned the post: "As recently discussed on BBC Radio 2 The Roman Empire and golf collide @rydercupeurope.
"Also great seeing a tonne of fellow Boltonians on the course."
People in the comments were thrilled to know Vernon had been at The Ryder Cup.
One said: "Brilliant result. Hubby played the course in May so talked me through every hole."
Vernon has been sharing various clips and pictyres from his time on the course.
Another person said: "Been there all week as a volunteer on hole 10 and didn’t get to meet you, fuming to be honest but you played some absolute bangers."
During the weekend, Vernon was also DJ'ing for the after party, playing tunes from famous DJ Calvin Harris to entertain the crowd in attendance.
Bolton is now back on Radio One after his little vacation.
