A major road in Harwood will be closed for nearly a week.
Longsight Lane will be closed from October 16 for approximately five days whilst water works are ongoing.
The road closure will prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Longsight Lane from Hough Fold Way for 25m in a northerly direction, to allow water works to take place.

To ensure recycling bins are emptied during the works, council officials are asking residents to present them at the nearest accessible point to ensure that they can be emptied on the usual collection days.
Council officials say they want to apologise for any inconvenience the closure may cause.
