A borough hotel is looking forward to welcoming Katie Price and her daughter Princess to a make-up masterclass next year.
Katie and Princess will be at the Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel in Blackrod on February 4 next year to show fans how to recreate their best make-up looks alongside a make-up artist’s advice.
This is the second time Katie will be in the borough after she launched a perfume signing in Horwich in 2013.
The hotel’s wedding and events manager, Rochelle-Louise Kelly said: “We’re really excited for them as it is something different and the first time she has been here to our hotel, so to have her coming here is fantastic.
“Most people know what Katie is like, she is very loud and does not hold back.
“Katie is going to get her make-up done and will talk about how they achieved her looks, and anyone can come down to meet them.”
Rochelle was contacted by Katie’s business partner and asked if the hotel would like to host an event for Katie.
Katie will speak to the audience members on the day and anyone with a VIP ticket will be able to meet both herself and Princess.
Rochelle said: “I think people will see a different side to her personality and we are just so excited for them both to arrive.
“I really like her and think she has not had an easy ride, and she works really hard too.
“And it’s just good to be doing something different from what we usually do.”
The hotel is used to hosting weddings and parties, and will soon be taking on Christmas events.
Rochelle is eager to make the event the best one possible that Katie will attend and will be hiring venue dresser Donna Kelly to make the room look spectacular.
She said: “It’s going to be very extravagant, and Donna will bring her barbie box which people can take pictures in.
“I want it to be the best one that she attends, that’s how I like to do things.
“A lot of people are excited to also see Princess and it is now suitable for teenagers who might want to see how Princess does her make-up.”
