A charity has teamed up with the University of Bolton to host an electric car event with several major retailers in tow.
The Bolton IAM RoadSmart Group will host the day at the university’s National Centre for Motorsport Engineering NCME, giving people a taster session for electric driving.
A spokesman for the group said: “Back in September 2021, Bolton and District Advanced Motorists hosted the fantastic Northern Electric Car Show which was a great success and very well attended.
“We are doing something similar but different this year at NCME within the University of Bolton, and it looks like it’s going to be a show not to be missed by anyone who drives or is thinking of moving to an electric car. “
Bolton IAM RoadSmart Group will be giving details about the Advanced Driving Course they are famous for and will be offering a taster of what advanced driving is with a 15 minute demonstration drive.
Exhibitors include Porsche, KIA, MG, Citroen and Ora, as well as the University showcasing all the electric vehicle courses available at NCME.
A spokesman said: “This will be fantastic event for all the community to take part in.
