New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Bolton’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Two takeaways have been awarded new five out of five hygiene ratings after recent inspections – the top-grade eateries can receive.
Bolton, was rated a five after an inspection on September 21.
Harajuku at 37 Derby Street,The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is very good, while the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety are good.
Sandwich Delight at 81 Market Street, Westhoughton, was also given a five on August 31.
The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the management of food safety are very good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good.
Two establishments have also been awarded four out of five hygiene scores.

CSG Foods at 4a-4b The Parklands was given the rating of four after inspection on August 17.
The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling and management of food safety are good while the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is generally satisfactory.
Lever Street Cafe at Grecian Mills, Lever Street, Bolton, was also rated a four after inspection on August 17.
The inspection report states both the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and the management of food safety are good whilst the hygienic food handling is generally satisfactory.
And The Kitchen @ Market Hotel, 11-15 Brackley Street, Farnworth, was rated a three out of five after inspection on August 1.
