Today, to mark the first day of autumn, when thoughts turn to Halloween, Bonfire Night and the festive season, a toy store has released its Christmas catalogue.

Generations of children could not wait to get their hands on a Christmas toy catalogue, and spending hours choosing the toys to put on their Christmas list

To mark The Smyths Toys Superstores free 300-page catalogue customers are invited to attend the catalogue launch party today.

The catalogue launch party will take place from 9am, across all Smyths Toys Superstores in the UK. At this year’s party, this year guests can get their faces painted, enjoy some

delicious candy floss and have the chance to meet their favourite costume characters in selected stores.

Free giveaways include Disney Doorables and Simbrix Bags – all while stocks last.

The launch party will also feature a chance to win gift vouchers of up to £150. Each store will feature an iDance DJ station with speakers, and a Digital Dance Met for visitors to try out.
