Regarding the proposed name change of the university of university, as one of the biggest towns in England please do not insult the general public as to where Bolton is.
With connections of Samuel Crompton,Wanderers, Peter Kay, Warburton’s bakery, the old Prestons of Bolton advert - everyone knows where Bolton is.
It is in Lancashire regardless of what chancellors, professors, graduates etc say. Ask the Post Office for Bolton’s correct address.
