She will be at Waterstones in Bolton  to speak about Tom. Kelsey has written a book about Tom, who grew up in Tonge Moor.

With and Without You is Kelsey’s story on her life after losing her husband and father to her children, Tom on March 30 in 2022 after a long battle with a brain tumour, which he had been diagnosed with in 2020.

In the bookk Kelsey explains her heartbreak and grief, as well as how she overcame it in a positive way.

Kelsey will be at the Bolton Waterstones on September 30 at 1pm, where fans can meet her and get a signed copy of the book.

The Bolton News:

She posted about the launch on her Instagram page, sharing a picture of the book and letting people know where she would be.

In the post, Kelsey said: “I’m so excited to share that I’m doing three dates with Waterstones at Bluewater, Lakeside and Bolton where you can come along to meet me and get your book signed.

“You don’t have to pay any extra, it’s just so we know how many people are coming (hopefully more than one).

“You’ve all been so important to me over the past couple of years and I wouldn’t be getting these opportunities without your support so having the chance to meet you in person for a chat is so exciting.”

Kelsey remained a tower of strength for Tom during his darkest days. When traditional treatments stopped working, she spent hours researching alternative therapies to give her husband extra time with his young children Aurelia and Bodhi.

She said on Instagram: “It's been such an emotional journey writing this book and reliving life when I first met Tom, through our happiest times, getting married, having Aurelia and then his diagnosis, saying goodbye and the last 18 months without him and all I have learned along the way.

“I'm heartbroken and sad, proud, stronger than ever, more vulnerable and somehow feel weaker than ever and everything in-between, but most of all I'm grateful for all the support I've had and that through all the grief and loss I have a lot to look forward to.”
