Bobby Brazier has revealed a Strictly Come Dancing confession to Holly Willoughby and Dermot O’Leary on This Morning.

Appearing on ITV’s flagship show earlier today (September 20) alongside his Strictly professional partner Dianne Buswell, the EastEnders actor admitted he had never watched the show before.

Holly jokingly said to the 20-year-old: “You have never watched the show… Maybe you feel okay with that because you don’t realise how massive and huge that moment is.

"Most people have been watching it for years, grown up with it, finally they’re there and it’s just like, it’s huge.”

To which Bobby replied: “Yeah, I’m excited my first-ever experience of Strictly is on Strictly.”

Holly, Dermot and Dianne all burst into laughter before Dianne went on to explain: “Every time I tell him the dance he's like 'I've never heard of it.'

"It is quite exciting because he is learning from scratch so has no bad habits."

Bobby said although he has never seen the BBC show, he “begged” his boss to let him take part in the 2023 series.

“It was a no brainer, it was a yes straight away. I begged my boss to let me do it. I'm grateful that he did let me do it and take the time off,” he added.

“I think this weekend is either going to go really well or really badly.”

Commenting on how Bobby is getting on during the first week of rehearsals, Dianne said: “He only knows one style at the moment.

“But I think that style is what he will be best at. Bobby has a natural groove to him and great charisma.”

Bobby joked that he gets his 'moves' from his dad and TV presenter Jeff Brazier, adding: “My dad is a good mover! Where do you think I got the caterpillar from.”

Bobby Brazier splits up with girlfriend Liberty Love

Ahead of his Strictly debut over the weekend, Bobby reportedly broke up with model girlfriend Liberty Love, according to The Daily Mail.

The pair were said to have been dating for more than 18 months.

A source told the publisher: “She and Bobby had been on and off but now it seems that it's over for good.”

In July 2022, Bobby and Liberty unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted all traces of each other from their social media.

However, they rekindled their spark and began dating again, until the British model "called it quits" ahead of his Strictly debut.

Strictly Come Dancing next airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer for the first live show of the series on Saturday, September 23 at 6.15pm.
