Two cars, a BMW and a Volkswagen Polo, were seized within minutes of each other in Halliwell today, Tuesday.
Traffic officers and the Bolton North Neighbourhood team have taken two cars off the roads within just five minutes of each other.
The first car, seized on Chorley Old Road, was initially stopped by traffic officers.
They reported that the driver did not have a valid UK driving licence and then made the seizure.
Police from the neighbourhood team reported that the second car had failed to stop for officers.
It was then allegedly abandoned on Dilham Court.
Enquiries are ongoing in the case of the second ‘abandoned’ vehicle.
