St Catherines Care Home in Horwich will be holding a community coffee morning on Friday 29th September at 10:30am to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Mayor of Horwich, Cllr David Grant, will be attending along with author, Janet Crawford and a guitarist will entertain guests.
Chef Wayne Woolman has been helping residents practice and perfect their bakes planned for the event and members of the local community are warmly invited to join residents and the team at the home for a cuppa and chat and to enjoy a selection of delicious cakes and treats.
St Catherines Care Home is located in Queen Street, Horwich, BL6 5QU .

Macmillan's Coffee Morning is the charity's biggest fundraising event to support people living with cancer
People all over the UK host their own Coffee Morning and donations raised on the day are made to Macmillan.
In 2022, the charity raised £12 million and hope to top that this year.
