Watch manager Glyn McGann said it is believed the fire could have been started on purpose.
He said: "There was damage to the passenger carrying side of the vehicle.
"It was a possible deliberate ignition.
"I do not have a possible cause, but the indication is that glass was smashed and it was on the passenger side which is a strong indication it was deliberate.
"I would ask anyone who might have seen it to get in touch with the police."
