It's that time of year again — when Bolton raises a glass or two to the future of the town's young people.
Bolton Beer Festival is back for 2023, where 'great beer and greater causes come together'.
Beer enthusiasts from far and wide will descend on October for the festival which supports the Bolton Lads & Girls Club (BLGC).
Headline sponsor this year is The Gallagher Group.
Running from Thursday, October 12 to Saturday, October 14, the 'unmissable event' will once again be held at the iconic Home of Bolton Wanderers, The Toughsheet Stadium.
The festival promises an extensive selection of over 200 real ales, lagers, ciders, gin, wine, and Prosecco.
And that's not all — for this year visitors can visit a new shot bar.
All proceeds from the festival are donated directly to BLGC, the sole beneficiary of this remarkable event for over 29 years.
The festival is one of the biggest social events in Bolton's calender.
And given the immense popularity of this event, which has consistently drawn over 8,000 visitors in previous years, organisers are strongly recommended that sponsors and attendees secure their tickets early by visiting the official Beer Festival website at www.beer-festival.co.uk.
With an array of live music from the Pedal Tones and The Govans filling the atmosphere, BLGC is confident that everyone will have a fabulous weekend in a fun, yet safe environment.
As one of the year's most significant crowd-pullers, local businesses are given the opportunity to shine by sponsoring visual displays at the festival.
A diverse range of sponsorship packages are available, and BLGC encourage interested companies to act swiftly to ensure they're part of this unforgettable weekend.
Sponsorships can also be conveniently secured via our website, www.beer-festival.co.uk.
Kelly McFadden, head of fundraising and communications at BLGC, said: "The Beer Festival has become a cherished tradition in so many people's lives!
"In 2022, the festival raised a record-breaking £80,000 for the charity, a milestone that filled us with immense pride.
"It stands as the grandest social event on the Bolton calendar, and we are thrilled to return this year. We eagerly anticipate welcoming everyone safely to the festival."
Aimee Turner said: "As this is my first beer festival as events and fundraising Manager at BLGC, I look forward to meeting more of our dedicated patrons and supporters across Bolton.
"The beer fest represents a pivotal event in our fundraising calendar, playing a vital role in providing endless opportunities for the young people and children of Bolton."
