Bolton establishments have been handed new hygiene ratings

Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety, inspectors have rated one eatery a five out of five hygiene rating and four eateries a three out of five hygiene rating.

The inspection report states the eatery is good in all areas.

A Bolton drinking establishment has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Market Hotel (Image: Google Maps)Market Hotel, at 11-15 Brackley Street, Farnworth, Bolton was given the score after assessment on August 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

The inspection report states all areas of the eatery are generally satisfactory.

New food hygiene ratings of three out of five have been awarded to three other Bolton’s establishments too, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The inspection report states the eatery is generally satisfactory in all areas.

The inspection report states both the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory whilst the hygienic food handling is good.

Zapata (Image: Google Maps)Finally, Zapata, a takeaway at 564 Bury Road, Bolton was given the score of three after assessment on August 5, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

The inspection report states all areas of the eatery are generally satisfactory.

It means that of Bolton's 370 takeaways with ratings, 145 (39 per cent) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
