Witnesses have been urged to come forward after a man in his 20s was badly injured in a crash last week.
The crash, involving a motorbike and another vehicles, happened on Eldon Street in Bolton at around 12pm on Thursday August 31.
Police and paramedics, including an air ambulance, were called and a 21-year-old was air lifted to hospital.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services attended the scene, and a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“It is understood that a vehicle travelling south on Eldon Street approached the junction of Warby Street, meanwhile a motorcyclist emerged from Connaught Square and collided with the vehicle which resultantly unseated the motorcyclist.
“Both vehicles and persons remained at the scene while further enquires were conducted.
“GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

“They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.”
