Fire and ambulance services attended a house fire in Bolton over the weekend.
The incident took place on St Gregorys Close in Farnworth and was attended by Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).
The fire was in the first floor bedroom of a house there, with three fire engines attending, alongside paramedics, who treated the occupants for smoke inhalation.
Watch Manager Phil Hinsley of Bolton Central said: "It was a fire on a first floor bedroom, we were called out at 9.25pm on Sunday. Three fire engines attended, two from Farnworth and one from Bolton Central.
"An ambulance also attended to treat occupants for smoke inhalation. The fire service used four breathing apparatus' and two hose reels.
"All persons got out of the property prior to the fire service's arrival. The fire was contained to the room."
He added a warning, saying: "GMFRS reminds residents to check for a working smoke alarm, they save lives."
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) spokesperson said: “Shortly before 9.30pm on September 3, 2023, three fire engines from Bolton Central and Farnworth fire stations attended a fire at a house on St Gregorys Close, Farnworth.
"Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
"Three casualties were conveyed from the scene to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.”
