Police are appealing to find the family of an elderly man who died in hospital.
James Ford, of Bromwich Street, The Haulgh, died aged 81 at Royal Bolton Hospital on August 25.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are now looking to speak to Mr Ford's family following his death.
They say that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Police Coroner's Office.
A spokesperson from GMP's Bolton South Neighbourhood Team said: "Do you know the next of kin of a man from Bolton?
"James Ford, aged 81, of Bromwich Street, sadly died at The Royal Bolton Hospital on 25/08/23. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
"Any information? Call Police Coroner’s Office at 0161 856 4687."
Police regularly put out appeals to help find the loved ones of people who have died in order to help establish the full facts behind someone’s death.
In this case, officers hope that people will come forward with further information as soon as possible.
