An appeal has gone out to help an investigation into a takeaway burglary more than a month ago.
Fresco’s, on Railway Road, Leigh, is believed to have been burgled in the early hours of Friday, July 28 with a till and its contents stolen.
Officers have now released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident and have urged anyone who may know or recognise him to come forward.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “At about 3.20am on July 28 there was a burglary at Fresco’s takeaway on Railway Road, Leigh.
“The till and contents were stolen.
“Officers would like to speak to this man as he holds important information about the incident.
“He is believed to live in the local area.”
They added: “If you are this man then come and speak to us before we come and speak to you.”

Anyone with any further information about the man, his identity or any other details about the alleged burglary on Railway Road in Leigh has been urged to contact police.
They can do so by calling 101, quoting crime reference number CRI/06LL/0023582/23.
Alternatively, witnesses can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
