A teenager has been charged in connection with a knifepoint robbery in Bolton which happened over the weekend.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with robbery.

He has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (30 August).

This charge is after an investigation into the incident which occurred on Sunday, 27 August in Bolton town centre.
