The team behind the development of a faith facility and community hub at the Royal Bolton Hospital has been shortlisted for two awards.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust announced that iFM Bolton - the trust's estate team - has been shortlisted for Estates and Facilities Team of the Year and for Diversity and Inclusion for their faith facility and community hub in the Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards.
iFM is a wholly owned subsidiary of the trust and manage all the facility services at Royal Bolton Hospital and the community health centres across the town.
The team at iFM make sure that all buildings and estates are fit for purpose and are a vital part of the NHS service offered to the community of Bolton.
Hundreds of worshippers have made use of the new faith facilities at Royal Bolton Hospital in the six months since they opened.
The mosque, temple and community room were officially opened by the then Mayor Bolton Cllr Akhtar Zaman in March this year.
They were made possible thanks to donations worth thousands of pounds by communities from across the borough to Our Bolton NHS Charity.
Fiona McDonnell, iFM Managing Director said: “I am so proud of the team. What a great acknowledgement to be shortlisted for two categories at the prestigious IHEEM Awards this year.

“I’d also like to say a huge thanks to those who helped to bring the nominations together. Team work really does make the dream work!
“We can’t wait to attend the celebration in October and hopefully bring home a trophy!”
The IHEEM Awards ceremony is taking place on October 10 at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester.
