Sara Inssali, who attended St Catherine's Academy, achieved one nine, two sixes, a four, seven, and five.

She is now set to go to The Sixth Form Bolton to study criminology, sociology and English literature.

Sara said: “I want to go on and do criminal law at university after college so I can be a solicitor.

“I feel like everybody should get a chance to speak their mind, and a lot of people are put into prison very unfairly.

“I’ve always been an advocate for equality.”

Logan Parden-Bell, who also attended the same school, achieved five grade sevens, three grade eights, and a grade five.

He now wants to put his love for animals into a career as he gets ready for his A levels at Bury College.

Logan said: “I really enjoy science and want to work with animals.

“I have always wanted to work with animals since I was very young, and loved seeing them when I went to the zoo.

“I want to be a wildlife veterinarian to help animals in need and animals that wouldn’t get help like normal animals would, like ones that are being poached so I can make them safe.”

"With the grading system returning to that of 2019 our results in 2023 are significantly higher than 2019.
