A cafe which was seen by millions on the hit BBC drama Happy Valley is looking to expand under new plans announced.
Amico, a family run business, is hoping to move into premises next door.
The cafe, located on Corporation Street, became famous after filming for the drama took place for Happy Valley.
Viewers spotted the café on the screen when Sgt Catherine Cawood, played by Sarah Lancashire, visited the outlet in the town centre.
The visit took place for episode two of the third and final series.
The cafe became a bit of an attraction with people visiting the cafe and asking which table the scenes were shot at.
A “Happy Valley sandwich” was even added to the menu for fans to enjoy.
The show was set in Yorkshire but featured a number of scenes in Bolton including the Deansgate One Stop Shop and the Market Place Shopping Centre.
And now café Amico has launched plans to expand by moving into the property next door which the owner has already acquired.
The plans have been submitted to Bolton Council.
A design statement prepared as part of this explained how it would work.
It said: “The building is located on Corporation Street in the vibrant town centre of Bolton.
“No. 28 Corporation Street is currently a thriving Café and restaurant business, which is Amico Café.
“The Café is a family business and opened its doors in February 2018.
“The café has since become the daily destination for local coffee lovers.
“When No. 26 became available, the applicant acquired the property with the intension of expanding the Café, so more locals can enjoy it.
“Therefore, the proposal is to combine the two premises into one Café and restaurant shop as shown in the Architectural drawings submitted with this application.
"As such, the new shopfront for No. 26 will match that of No. 28.”
A separate application has also been launched for a new sign above what would be the expanded business.
