A new drive-thru bakery has opened its doors in Bolton TODAY.
Greggs has opened in Over Hulton.
Manager Daniel Dunphy says that the addition of the new bakery has been welcomed by the local businesses and residents.
A&F Forecourts have completed the development of the Logistics North site at Bridgewater Avenue, close to the M61 junction 4.
Daniel said: “I think people have been waiting for a long time for this.
“It’s absolutely fantastic.
“I am new to Greggs, and I was recruited for this site.
“It’s been really exciting to work with the Greggs team get it off the ground.”

Daniel comes with 14 years’ experience in the food to go industry, and he loves the fact it is customer focused.
He added: “I am a people person, so customers are number one.
“For such a big company it’s such a family environment to work in.”
At the moment the drive-thru is open from 5am-11pm every day and the café is open from 6am-10pm.
Daniel says that they are hoping that in the next couple of months that the drive-thru will be able to be open 24 hours, subject to planning and licensing.
Daniel said: “Everybody at Greggs is really excited to hopefully become the first Greggs drive-thru in the country to be open 24 hours.”
A total of 25 jobs have been created since Greggs launched, and Daniel says that they are constantly recruiting for staff as the business continues to grow.
The first stage of the petrol forecourt development, which includes an electrical car charging hub has already been completed.
This will be Greggs’ third drive-thru in the North West, following the opening of restaurants in Irlam and Blackburn.
The Greggs will be found close to the Costa Coffee outlet, opened in 2017, which operates close to the roundabout and joins a growing selection of fast-food outlets and other retailers on the site.
