This great photo provides proof if ever it was needed that the Sixties were indeed the era of the baby boomers. It was taken in March 1966 and shows pram parking chaos outside Horwich clinic.
One mum was looking for somewhere to 'park' her own pram before attending the clinic.
As well as how great the prams were back then, it's also interesting to see that mums were trusting enough to leave them outside the clinic while their babies were being checked over. Do you think any of them would still be there when mums came out today?
