A Bolton domestic abuse charity is hosting its very first abseil challenge this September to raise money for the charity.
Fortalice will be hosting the abseil challenge, asking supporters to descend 128ft down the iconic Peel Tower in Bury.
With stunning views looking out over Holcombe Moor, Manchester, Cheshire, and North Wales, abseilers will make their way to Ramsbottom to support local charity Fortalice on September 23.
Participants will each receive a T-shirt within their £35 registration fee, whilst asking their friends and family to sponsor their daring challenge.
The ongoing increase in cost of living is having a detrimental effect on everyone, Fortalice included, the added financial pressures on home life can unfortunately heighten domestic abuse and their costs have risen and sadly so has the demand.
Speaking about the abseil challenge, Gill Smallwood, Chief Executive of Fortalice said: “We hope supporters will take part in our new Abseil Challenge!
“Funding is particularly difficult at the moment, however with your support we can continue to save lives.
“Please sign up to this fantastic challenge or if heights are your limit please donate to this worthy cause!”
