This photo from 1978 shows a scene which would have been very common all over Bolton at the time.
It shows houses on Rothwell Street, Daubhill, with a mill towering over them in the background.
The mills were a familiar sight across the town living cheek by jowl with rows of houses.
We think the mill is Moor Mill but stand to be corrected. Do you recognise it? Can you tell us more about it? Email john.anson@nqnw.co.uk or leave a comment
