Belmont Road, 1969
Weeks of bad weather led to this mini-landslide on Belmont Road at the junction with Horrocks Scout Road in December 1969.
A wall and protective railing plus the edge of the road had fallen into the valley below leading to part of the road being closed while emergency repairs were carried out.
