Give us some history about the pub:
We have been open for two years and tried to ingrain ourselves in the community. We host a lot of charity events and functions. It used to be a Boozebuster but we have kitted it out and started from scratch to create a stylish, modern and great little venue.
Is food served? If so what’s on the menu?
We serve breakfast, lunch and have an extensive tapas menu - we are the only place locally that does a tapas. People order a lot of tapas and we have got all sorts.
Is there a beer garden?
No.
Do you have any darts/snooker/pool teams?
No, we are more of bar
Most popular drink served is:
Cocktail - Pornstar Martini. Visitors find that we are a nice bar and people love to come for cocktails
Most memorable moment at the pub:
We have been here for only two years but it has to be when we opened. The owners have put a lot of work to get it open and that was fantastic. The overall atmosphere is great but we set ourselves apart from other venues in the area by having the whole package.
Do you have an entertainment line-up?
We have something every Friday and Saturday night ranging from DJs to singers and tribute acts.
Have you faced any challenges within the industry?
Costs have escalated across the board across the country, but we have kept our heads down to offer a great service and place to go
The best thing about running a pub is...
Every day is different. It is about developing a relationship with your customers and making them want to come back
The perfect hangover cure is...
Full English and coffee, served here 9am-noon.
