New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of Bolton’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated one eatery a four out of five rating and two eateries a three out of five rating.
One eatery in the borough has been awarded a new four out of five hygiene rating after inspection.
Regent Hall, a pub, bar or nightclub at Prescott Street, Bolton was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 24.
The inspection report states both the hygienic food handling, and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are very good whilst the management of food safety is generally satisfactory.
Two Bolton eateries have also been handed new three out of five food hygiene ratings.
Cafe de Casa, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at St Georges House, 2 St Georges Road, Bolton was given a score of three on June 23.
The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is good whilst the management of food safety and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building are generally satisfactory.
Namma Ooru Dosa, a restaurant, cafe, or canteen at 212 Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton was given the score after assessment on June 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is good whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory.
It means that of Bolton's 434 restaurants, cafes, and canteens with ratings, 242 (56 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
