A property was raided by police this morning.

Neighbourhood officers said they 'successfully' executed a drugs warrant.

Police with GMP Bolton South said the address in the Deane and Rumworth area of Bolton, with officers executing a section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant.

A spokesperson for GMP Bolton South said: “Officers from the Rumworth Neighbourhood Team executed a section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address in the Deane and Rumworth area this morning.

“Drugs were found in the address and positive action was taken.”

The raid is one of several which has taken place across Bolton in the crackdown against drugs.

At a recent partners and communities together meeting, people raised drugs as a concern, with children being approached to buy illegal substances.
