New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Bolton’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Examining food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety, inspectors have rated three eateries a five out of five, two eateries a four out five, one eatery a three out of five and one eatery a two out of five rating.
Venus Cafe at Unit 21 Halliwell Industrial Estate, Rossini Street, Bolton, was rated a five after inspection on July 15.
The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is very good, whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety are good.
Harmans Facilities Management at Sherwin Williams Tower Works, Kestor Street, Bolton, was also rated a five after inspection on July 11.
The eatery was rated good in all areas.
Dino's at 16 Higher Market Street, was also rated a five on May 4.
The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is very good, whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety are both good.
Two eateries have also been awarded four out of five hygiene ratings.
Beaumont Arms at The Beaumont Arms, Armadale Road, was rated a four on June 17.
The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is very good, whilst the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and the management of food safety are both generally satisfactory.
THE FLAME IN GRILL at 2 The Oasthouse, Sandhurst Drive, was rated a four on June 27.
The inspection report states both the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and the management of food safety are generally satisfactory whilst the hygienic food handling is very good.
One eatery has also been handed a three out of five-hygiene rating.
Donner24 Limited at 2 Thicketford Road, Bolton, was handed the rating on July 17 and was rated generally satisfactory in all areas.
Finally, a Bolton takeaway has been handed a new two-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Tasty Grill, a takeaway at 3 Gilnow Road, Bolton was given the score after assessment on July 20, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The inspection report states the management food safety is generally satisfactory, whilst improvement is necessary for the hygienic food handling and the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building.
It means that of Bolton's 372 takeaways with ratings, 146 (39 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
