The list of finalists for the Great British Pub Awards 2023 has been released with two Manchester pubs being shortlisted.
The awards are split into a variety of categories including Best City/Urban Pub, Best Pub for Dogs and Best Pub to Watch Sport.
Puss in Boots in Offerton, Stockport (Greater Manchester) has been shortlisted for the Best Pub for Families category.
The Old Abbey Taphouse in Manchester has been shortlisted for the Community Hero award.

Puss in Boots is praised on Tripadvisor with a rating of 4 out of 5 from 604 reviews.
One reviewer wrote: “Called by on a Tuesday evening, had a lovely roast beef carvery, meat was cooked perfectly and good choice of vegetables. Waiter was also very attentive and looked after us both well.”
