A man and woman have been arrested after a spate of thefts in Horwich.
The thefts happened at shops in the town centre yesterday, Thursday.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said that they have arrested a man and a woman, both aged 33, on suspicion of carrying out the thefts.

They are both in custody for questioning.

A spokesperson for GMP Bolton West said: “A 33-year-old male and a 33-year-old female have been arrested by the Horwich neighbourhood team on July 20 on suspicion of theft from shops in Horwich town centre.
“Both remain in custody for questioning today. We will update with the outcome of our investigation.”
